Why pay for the information when you can get it for FREE? Besides when you sign up for the paid services – you won’t get a bargain if everyone else has the same list.
Here’s food for thought: If the banks that own these foreclosures REALLY need to sell their houses, why would they advertise them in some paid-service where buyers had limited access to them? Think about that for a second!
It’s a little known fact that foreclosures and short-sale homes are listed in the Multiples Listing Service (MLS). Most agents also don’t know how to extract the foreclosures automatically out of the MLS and provide them to their clients.
The key to buying foreclosures successfully is timing and knowledge. How many foreclosures have you been involved in? How do you know what to look for? Who is protecting your best interests? The bank?
